Catherine is a great believer in food as medicine.  She has relied on the principals of holistic nutrition to resolve her own health issues including digestive problems , hormonal imbalance, severe acne, and food intolerance. Now, as a new mom, good habits and nutrition play even bigger role, and she is challenged daily to put her money where her mouth is!

She received her training at Integrative Nutrition in New York City. Among her teachers are Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Sara Gottfried, and Deepak Chopra. 

Catherine has lectured at the Natural Epicurean, given cooking and stress management workshops, and was featured in various wellness blogs including Hay House and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

She was profiled in a neat little piece in The Austin American-Statesman in 2013, which pretty sums up her philosophy and path to holistic wellness.
